We're not just automating software.
We're reinventing how it's built.
Neoteams is a product lab and software company building applications with our own innovation: Automata.
Unlike any traditional framework or tool, Automata is an architectural invention that enables up to 90% automation of the entire software production process — without removing the human from it.
We believe that the future of software is not faster code, but fundamentally better structure. With Automata, we're laying the foundation for a new kind of software — AI-native, modular, and scalable by design.
Our Mission
To democratize software creation.
We want to make software development radically faster, more intelligent, and accessible — without sacrificing clarity or control.
Our Values
Love
We care deeply — about our work, our clients, and each other. Without love, nothing we build matters.
Fairness & Grace
We believe in doing what's right. But we also believe in forgiveness — in giving room for mistakes, learning, and growth.
Wisdom
Every breakthrough starts with deep understanding. Automata's core idea came from observing seabirds and simulating decision-making in nature. Wisdom can come from unexpected places.
The Origin
While others chased faster code, we asked a different question:
What if the architecture itself is wrong?
Automata was born during a series of solitary kayak trips to a remote Finnish island. Our founder, Paulus Mikkola, observed birds and nature to study how living beings make real-time decisions. These insights inspired a new way of modeling how intelligent agents — including humans — behave.
That simulation project soon collided with the inefficiencies of modern programming. Why, Paulus wondered, does a seasoned developer take days to properly code even the simplest logic? Why are software systems inherently resistant to clarity and modularity?
Combining insights from biomimicry, cybernetics, and programming theory, Paulus uncovered a structural flaw in how we build software — and designed a radically different architecture to fix it. Together with team, he began assembling the building blocks of a system that could finally make software creation modular, efficient, and AI-native.
Automata was no longer just a simulation. It became a tool to build simulations — and everything else.
Built by builders
We're a small team of engineers, thinkers, and creators — building not just software, but tools to build software faster and smarter than ever before.
